I’ve always loved the cool chrome legged dinettes from the 1950′s, and the whole scene in this Daystrom ad is very groovy. The table and chairs have a simple yet very nice design, the angle of the table legs really makes it. I love the combo of green colors along with the wood tone, and that modern cabinet is amazing! In the background we see a nice large stove of the day… I would love to see more photos of this kitchen!
The original ad called this dinette “Fashion for Carefree Settings!” The “rugged Daystromite table top whisks clean of spills in a jiffy, winks are scalding coffee and lighted cigarettes.” And it was only $155, back in the day.
